A1

If you pass your theory test and practical exam, you can obtain the A2 driving licence at age 18. It is important to remember that you must complete a limited amount of special trips, in addition to the normal practice hours. This includes 3 lessons on rural or federal roads as well as 4 lessons on highways and one lesson at night.
When you have completed two years of A2 license, you can take a second practical test to be eligible for a full category A motorcycle license. It is important to keep in mind that a category A licence only permits you to drive vehicles with a maximum power of 35kW (46.6bhp).

The current license style is in compliance with the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic and is accepted in all countries that have signed the convention.
C1
